B1BLE is an independent Scripture reading, commentary and educational project centered on recurring structures of life, order, truth, law, love, light, judgment, mercy, restoration and the refusal of appropriation.
The project
B1BLE develops resources that help readers notice recurring patterns across Scripture rather than treating individual words or passages as isolated fragments. The project currently includes a 954-entry dictionary system, commentary and book work, multilingual channels, the B1BLE Cosmic Time prototype, published B1.618 music, and software concepts for future study tools.
B1BLE is not an official teaching of any church, denomination or religious organization, and it is not presented as an official Bible translation.
Free access
The long-term public model is simple: core educational study resources should remain freely accessible. Support is for the work required to create, translate, host, develop, publish and distribute those resources — not for restricting access to Scripture study.
Founder
Leonid Shushkevich founded and develops B1BLE from Sacramento, California. The project is currently in a pre-formation stage while a nonprofit legal structure is prepared.
Building in public
The site distinguishes between resources that are ready, in development and planned. Working prototypes and public proof are shown directly wherever possible. Formation and future public-benefit infrastructure will be documented as milestones are completed.
How the name B1BLE Project came about
The name B1BLE Project was chosen during the project’s early development, before founder Leonid Shushkevich was aware of BibleProject. The name, domain and early publishing work were already in use by the time the similarity was noticed.
Rather than assume the overlap was harmless, Leonid contacted BibleProject directly, explained that the name had been chosen independently, and offered to change it if they considered the similarity a problem.
On June 15, 2026, BibleProject Support replied that because the project uses the numeral “1” in B1BLE, they saw no problem with the name. After a follow-up asking explicitly whether B1BLE Project could continue using it, the response was equally clear.

“Please feel free to keep the name as it is.”
Original correspondence is retained in project records. This support-team response is not presented as a trademark license, partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
B1BLE Project therefore retained its original name. The two projects are independent. B1BLE Project is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by BibleProject.
